Um dos primeiros estudos da área que posteriomente seria chamada de psicologia ambiental tratou do Espaço de vida da criança urbana (vide Muchow & Muchow, 1998/1935 a seguir).

One of the first studies in the field that later would be called 'environmental psychology' delt with the Life Space of the Urban Child (cf. Muchow & Muchow, 1998/1935 below).
The following bibliography concentrates on the interface between environmental psychology and children & youth.

Esta revista começou como Chilren's Environment Quarterly (1984-1991), depois foi publicado com o nome Em 2003 recomeçou, como revista online com o atual nome. Gradativamente, os trabalhos publicados até 1995 estarão disponíveis no Internet também.
Initially published as Chilren's Environment Quarterly (1984-1991), then as children's Environment (1992-1995). Since 2003, the journal is published online and now containes the previous issues as well.
